I just had the following conversation with my son.

"Mom, we're doomed!"

"Why are we doomed?"

"Because we lost the TV a-mote." (for some reason he say "uh" instead of "re" or "be" or almost any "ee" sound half the time)

"Really?"

"Yes, we're doomed - a'cause we lost the a-mote and we can't find it." (said oh-so-matter-of-fact-ly)
